Tukurua Beach, Golden Bay

We haven't decided yet how much we'll drive without a spare tire, so today we stayed local, walking the beach and the area nearby. Morning brought a light rain, insignificant by NZ standards.

The beach is beautiful in this light.

Soon after, the sun emerged and we strolled down the camp entry road, looking in on a closed-for-winter pottery and a candle maker. Also said hello to the sheep.

This enticing path leads to Adrift in Golden Bay, beachfront accommodation neighboring our campground.

Everything changes when the skies clear.
